Mount & Seal Your Artworks!: Presenting Watercolors Without Glass:: Join Danielle Hood for a hands-on, two-part workshop where you’ll learn how to mount your watercolor or gouache artwork on a panel and seal it for a beautiful, glass-free presentation - so it can be framed and hung similar to oil or acrylic paintings.  We’ll cover surface prep, safe adhesion techniques, and applying a protective wax coat so your piece is ready to frame or hang.

Color Curious? A Beginners Guide to Color Mixing (PM)- Do you love the idea of painting but feel frustrated—or even intimidated—when it comes to mixing colors? Join Amy Toneys for a fun 4 week class! This supportive, hands-on course will help you overcome those fears and gain confidence with color. Using a limited palette, you’ll learn how to identify hues and mix your own with clarity and intention. Over four weeks, you’ll create your own color wheels and charts while exploring a variety of color studies. Build a Ceramic Paint Palette - In this hands-on ceramics class, explore how function meets artistry as you create your own custom paint palette. Using pre-rolled clay slabs, you'll design, carve, and refine your piece with guidance from ceramic artist Brooke Knippa of AP Curiosities. Experiment with texture and layout as you create a palette that reflects your personal artistic style. Students are welcome to come with a few design ideas or references for inspiration. If you have a specific design and/or size in mind, feel free to email Brooke beforehand to discuss design details and feasibility.

2 Week Whimsical Landscape Workshop- Ready to go bigger, looser, and more imaginative with your art? In this 2-week mini course, artist Stephanie Berry will share the secrets behind her signature whimsical landscapes — and guide you in creating your own.

You’ll explore a variety of materials, experimenting to discover what feels most natural to your style. Working from 3–5 inspiration images of your choice, you’ll build up your paintings layer by layer, introducing a new material with each round. The result? No two artworks will ever look alike.

Fundamentals such as color mixing and theories, paint and imagery layering and composition will be discussed and practiced. We paint and interpret from still life setups, our own printed photos and imagination. Class will begin with a short lesson/demo warm up that you'll try on paper, then we'll start a painting of your choice on canvas.

This class is best suited for Beginner and Mid level artists. Jen has a keen sense of what her students need for guidance so she can effortlessly support students at both levels simultaneously.

If you are a more advanced artist or have taken this class before and are ready to work more independently, Jen welcomes you to join this class for the space and place. You'll enjoy friendly, constructive critique and camaraderie. You can participate in the lesson and warm ups if you would like or just get right to painting at your own pace.

A material list will be emailed before the start of class. Color Theory Deep Dive- Exploration for Watercolor & Gouache Artists- Whether you’re looking to mix cleaner, more intentional colors or understand the science behind what’s in your paint tubes, this class will give you the tools to make confident color choices in your creative practice.

In this class we will learn how to decode your paint tubes, and we’ll explore essential color mixing strategies to help you avoid muddy results. Expect a mix of demos, guided exercises, and hands-on exploration. We’ll also cover often-overlooked topics like mixing neutrals, earth tones, and muted color palettes.

2 Week Mini Artworks Workshop- What’s better than a painting? A tiny painting! In this playful workshop, we’ll shake things up and think small — literally. Instead of working on one large piece, you’ll explore painting and illustrating on a miniature scale, creating a series of tiny works of art.

With a single theme or focus to tie your pieces together, you’ll stretch your creative thinking and leave with at least 10 mini-sized artworks that make a big impact. In our final class, we’ll host a mini studio display so everyone can admire the collection of small-but-mighty masterpieces.

Adult Art Camp Series: Hydrangea Art Workshop: Adults can go to art camp too! Come to the studio garden, for our annual Hydrangea Workshop! Create an artwork inspired by our lovely hydrangea wall that fills the studio garden. We will have a plethora of supplies to use, so adult “camper” artists will be able to feel inspired by what feels right to them. Watercolors, thread, pastels, inks are just some of the materials we will have out. During this 3 hour workshop we will talk about composition, color theory, layering, and design elements to make your hydrangea pop with visual interest. Come do something for yourself, and hang at the art studio for a few hours!
